Startup Recovery Manager does not work anymore with build 6514
The end of the startup message is scrambled
If you do not answer, Windows does not start after the usual delay
If you answer by pressing F11, the recovery manager does not start
I am using XP SP3.

SOLVED!!
If it can be worthwhile in the end I solved it by activating and deactivating Acronis Startup Recovery Manager.
The problem has disappeared.

Activating / deactivating ASRM did not work (I didn't try it from the recovery CD).
My problem has been solved by restoring my system to it's state before installation of the new release. I'm back on 5551.
This software is full of bugs. Worst are :
- Trying to restore from ASRM or the recovery CD stops with error if you ask for checking the backup prior to restoring.
- On many occasions, restore is refused because it's not the first backup file. As I always create complete backups, I don't understand. Next item could be the reason, but it means Acronis checks the name of the file but not its content!
- The name of the backup files is not the one I'm asking for : it is completed with a lot of unnecessary digits, versions... I have to rename the file in my way to retain a week of files, new Monday overwritng previous Monday...
I think this piece of software is much too complicated for many that just want to save and restore complete backups.
The only improvement I found in years is the ability to start after programs that can use the console!
