Stuck in an infinite backup loop

I deleted an old backup manually from the backup drive rather than deleting the files from within True Image 2015. Now I'm hopelessly stuck in an infinite loop as the program attempts to continue the incremental backup. Tried to stop the backup from inside the program and it cycles infinitely. Attempted to delete this backup and it spends an infinite amount of time trying to delete the backup files that are no longer there.
Can't use the program at all now. How to I reset things to their original state?
