Sub directory created each time Acronis starts

Thread needs solution

Greetings,
Cant believe Acronis does not offer email tech support. Man.
Each time I start true image home 2013 (with plus pack), it writes a new (empty) sub directory to my network drive. My actual backups are to a different sub. I delete the new entry - it appears next time I start TIH.
The sub was from a former backup I used in the past.
Thanks everyone.
Bill

Bill,

What is the name of this sub directory and does it make the folder as soon as you start to make your imaging choices or only once you've clicked on 'proceed' ?

Hi Colin,
Thanks very much for your help, and time!
The sub directories created are from former backups. I have a network attached drive. The original sub directory was called backup. Subs under that were named for the 3 computers I back up.
Later, I renamed the backup directory. I have a new sub called DiskStation, with new subs under that. I have run new backups from the 3 computers to the newly created sub directories, all OK.
However, as soon as I start the TIH program (not even starting to do a backup), it writes the "missing" old subdirectory to the network attached storage.
I know it must be coming from the older backups - but I do not have any of those set to run automatically.
Again - thanks very much!!!!!
Bill

I have noted that a similar thing happens when a recovery is started within Windows, just highlighting the archive to be recovered causes a My Backups folder to be created, in my case on the main drive partition.

I have notified Acronis of this.
