Subscription Expired error messages
I have two problems. First, I tried using the online backup service, but had so many problems with it that I canceled my subscription. Since then every time that I start ATIH, there is a message at the bottom reminding me to renew my subscription. I never will, but I can find no way to get rid of this annoying message.
Second, I had many problems with Non-Stop backup, so I quit using it and just created a scheduled hourly file backup task. This worked for a while, but then stopped working. If I click on BACKUP NOW, it works, but it will not create a backup automatically. I finally looked at the log file and found an odd error message. It said that my subscription had expired!! WTF! My file backup task has always used a local drive. It never used the online service.
Obviously these two problems are related. I have about had it with Acronis. I used to love it when it was a simple backup program, but ever since they "improved" it by adding new features, it has been one problem after another.

Thanks to another user's posting, I already tried logging out and that did get rid of the error messages. i didn't even realize that I was "logged in", since I had discontinued my use of the on-line backup service. However, my scheduled hourly backup is still not working. I tried deleting and recreating the hourly file backup task, but that did not help. i will try your rather drastic suggestion, but I have lost all confidence in Acronis and will not be surprised if it doesn't help.

If you reinstall, install in a clean boot environment.
