Suddenly trial version ? Why?

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have a lifetime license for ATI2015. It's very useful prigram, but last days I have a message in popup that ATI "trial" vesrion has expired. I don't have w trail version, I activate it maybe even a year or even much more ago. Why it "deactivate"? When I try to activate it once more it says that this license number is only for 1 computer (and it is). This is true info, becouse my ATI is activated on these same machine as I activated it a lot time ago first time. What can I do? How can I activate it? Maybe someone could help me with these. Thanks :)

arlid, welcome to these user forums.

There are a couple of possible causes for your activation issue, your license serial has been activated on another computer, or the stored information held for your license has been lost, damaged or corrupted for some unknown reason.

We cannot help directly with license or activation issues as we have no access to the Acronis systems involved in these areas, therefore you will need to contact Acronis Support direct to be able to establish the exact reason for your problem.

Agree with Steve to contact support for license issues - they should be able to sort you out.

As for the license suddenly showing trial - did you upgrade the OS, restore a backup, change the hard drive (clone) or anythign like that?  If the OS was moved, re-installed, upgraded (or a major part upgraded - like the motherboard), some software wiill detect the system as being different after these changes.  Normally, you just re-enter the license key again and you're good to go. With Acronis, if it says you've exceeded your licenses, then it normally asks you to log in to your account (through the application) and then will give you a choice of which system to remove it form first, before you can use the license again.  In cases where it's still on the same machine, just tell it to remove it from teh old version of that machine (the one Acronis shows) and then relicense it locally.  But, if you're having trouble beyond that, definitely contact techncial support since it's covered and they're the only ones who can really help here with account, licensing and registriation issues beyond the basic trouble shooting we can provide for local installations.
