Manfred,

Today's date is 9 October 2011 so you have a further 6 days of support. I'm not sure what you mean by 8 November 2011.

Is the 15th, 30 days after your purchase date?

Yes, trying to get support I opened a ticket at 08.11.2011. The site told me support has ended at 15.11.2011. Back to the future.
My problem. I use the bootable media from TI Home 2012. This ends in no partition found. Also TI Home 2011 ends with that message.
I have a WD HDD and i downloaded the TI WD edition from their site. This WD edition of True Image works.

The WD edition of True Image is based on TIH 2009 and has been altered by Western Digital for their own purposes.

Does the Windows based version of 2012 see all your drives?

Does the recovery CD fail at finding the hard drive or at finding the image?

Is your WD drive internal or external?

Hello Manfred and Colin,

Thank you for your posts and thank you for helping out Colin.

Manfred, let me assist you with this support issue.

I can see from your account that aftersales support for Acronis True Image 2012 Home will expire on the 15th of October. The program was registered on the 15th of September. We offer 30 days of free technical assistance via chat or e-mail.

Could you get back to me with a screenshot of your Acronis web-account where dates are wrong please?

For the bootable media issue I would recommend working with our Support team so that we can fix it. Please collect the following report from the bootable media.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

@colin
I did some tests flashed a modified BIOS, went back because of error message
severe error, no bootdevice(partition) found.
There is a WD 320GB WD3200AAKX 7200U/min 16MB HDD Sata 600 in my system.
I disconnected all cables to that drive and......
my bootable CD starts without any problems.
next to do ist to start with DEBAN deleting all informations on that drive.
This was my bootdevice before i took a Vertex 3.
But the question is, why can WD imaging can work with that drive using TI 2009 and TI 2012 abends?
@Anton
a little bit later. First I must find out what happens wit my WD Drive.

Manfred,

It looks as though whatever the problem was has sorted itself out from that attachment concerning the date, as it is stating 15 October 2011.

I'm a little confused, are you using Debian Linux as your OS?

As Anton said, make the Acronis reports that are required for the CD and send them off to support after raising a ticket.

Back to the roots.
I bought a HITACHI SATA 600 drive and did not have any problem with my bootable media..
I have to talk to Western Digital what happens with their WD TI edition.
Sorry for all that trouble.
I run WIN7 Prof 64bit.

Today the following response from WD arrived me.
