Support Question about ATI2015
Does Acronis still support ATI2015 ? IE: I've had ATI2015 6613 installed on 2 machines. A windows 10 laptop with USB 3.0 support and an older Windows 7 sytem. The windows 7 system has now been retired (Faulty mother board) and replaced with a new home built Windows 10 system. I installed my last license of ATI2015 on this new system. Works like charm for backing up. I created a Linux recovery disc and also created a Windows P.E. disk. Note that the media creation tool will not except the current windows 10 ADK. It only wants to use a windows 8 ADK. Here in lies a problem. After backing up the system, I attempted to do a recovery. The ATI2015 Win P.E. disk does not see any USB 3.0 devices on the new system. No way to perform a recovery. I guess its due to the the reqirement to use the Win 8 ADK which does not have the current drivers for this new system. Next I tried the Linux recovery method. It works fine on the Win 10 laptop with USB 3.0. It boots just fine on the new system and see's the USB 3.0 devices, but when told to select it, Linux crashes with memory dump (If anybody is interested). This is obviously a serious problem which will require some indepth work on Acronis's part.
Unless these problem can be fixed, ATI2015 is a nonfuctional piece of software on this new system.

MVP Mustang's MustangPEBuilder can create rescue media using the 2015 plugin and the Windows 10 ADK.
Are you using the Windows 8 ADK(WinPE 4.0) or the Windows 8.1 ADK(WinPE 5.0)? The Windows 8.1 ADK is recognized by the 2015 rescue media builder and was the first version to support UEFI/Secure Boot and includes many USB 3.0 drivers.

I've been using the 8.1 ADK, and it doesn't see the USB 3.0 devices on this new Gigabyte Mother Board.
I have in the past used Mustangs PE builder, but now it is becoming a mute point. I installed Macrum Reflect version 6.1 and guess what, its PE builder picks up the correct USB 3.0 drivers. I even tested a full recovery on a failed hard disk using Macrum and it recovered my system with no problems. I guess I will uninstall ATI2015 from this new Win 10 system and purchase Macrum Reflect. It works like a charm.
Thanks for you help.
