Sync don't Sync
I used to sync using Windows Live Mesh, but that sucks, lol I love how the Acronis sync is set up, but it does not sync the files, it says everything is up to date but they are not, I sync on 3 computers, am I doing anything wrong? This is what I do...
1) Click New Sync
2) Choose directory, for example D:\Temp
3) Check Other Computers and Online Storage then next
4) Click create sync
5) I copy a file to the directory but it don't copy on any of my computers, but some times a small file like a favorite might
On the other computers I click join this sync and choose the directory. Am I doing something wrong?
I have ESET Nod32 version 5.0.95.0 on 2 computers and windows firewall on the 3rd, all computers have Windows 7 Ultimate too. I am also trying to sync a lot of stuff (27 directories including SyncMe). But the one computer is only doing 4 including SyncMe.

I thought Sync functions would be nice, instead of copying back and forth... But I am not impressed:
My home network has 6 computers/laptops, 4 NAS, and a couple of Connected TV and BD, as well as a couple of WD stream machines.
In other words I have my own cloud and I did not like the Acronis approach to push sales of cloud space.
Furthermore, there is no explainations of the benefits and risks of full synch. What if one of the users deletes a full directory by mistake??
The saving versions option is good, but I far as I can see, it only works on cloud.....
All in all I am using teracopy to do my syncs, and with a little bit of discipline, it does the work.
It really looks like either the sync function is just here to sell you the cloud, or it is in very early stages of development...
Small tip regarding sync not synching.... watch your priorities... the sync might just be waiting for its turn... The log could say "waiting in line' instead of "sync has started".....
I am kind of frustrated by the whole handling of the "consumer" division, I hope the "business or entreprise" division does a better job at servicing their accounts....
