Synology DSM 5.0

Yes it does. I so backup to a Synology 5.1 beta and had no issue with Synology 5.0. I love the new ATI recovery CD as it supports wireless connections (finally!).
FYI, I have had issues with WD My Cloud products. The backups and validation would work well from Windows, but restoring didn't work from the NAS. The archives were deemed corrupted. Copying them to a USB disk would solve the issue.

Thanks Pat
I need to explain a little clearer, my question.
I have few PC's. They all run ATIH2010 and backup to a Dlink NAS. I then have Backup PC, which has a Removable HDD. I want to know if AITH2015 will backup a Synology NAS to the removable HDD. Or rather not, will it work, but is it supported?

Ah OK. You want to backup the content of a Synology NAS to a removable HDD. You won't be able to do an image of the Synology disk for sure.

I tried to create a file backup of a couple of files stored on my Synology NAS with my PC as a destination and it didn't work. I was able to select the files for backup, but when I ran the backup it failed, mentioning a disk "E:\" that doesn't exist on my computer. I guessed it failed to connect to the NAS, because no credentials were ever asked during the setup. Weirdly, the backup included some files I didn't select. Total disaster.

I tried then a regular file backup of a couple of files stored on my PC with the Synology NAS as the destination. The backup didn't complete. The software told me it couldn't access the destination. I then opened the destination share with Windows explorer, and reran the backup. This time the backup completed, but it told me that I could only recover fromt hat backup, I had to reconfigure it to create new versions. I "reconfigured" and saved. The backup then ran normally.

From this experience, there are a lot of issues with the file backup and NAS shares :-)
