System Cleanup will not remove these items

Thread needs solution

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Acronis True Image Home 2010 - System Cleanup
I have used the System Cleanup on a regular basis for years & it has always removed everything except 1 item, which was either #1 or #2. Suddenly there are 3 additional items it will not remove. I have made no changes to my system.
I am concerned they might be dangerous.
How do I remove these items?
What do they do?
The items are:
1. Direct ErrorLog.txt
2. FXSAPIDebugLogFile.txt
3. ZNPF8B0.tmp
4. ZNPF94D.tmp
Thanks . . . . . .

Alpha,

Probably those files are locked and in use by something.

The only way you'll be able to remove them is by booting into Windows SAFE mode and manually deleting them.

You will find them (probably) in c:\users\your_user_name\appdata\local\temp

The only time they are visible is after I perform a sweep. Otherwise I am unable to locate them. If I perform a search they do not appear. I cannot find their location.
I tried the extension you provided, but was unsuccessful.

Alpha,

Unsuccessful in what way, would not delete or you couldn't find the files or file path?

Alpha, how about if you try with CCleaner? Just curious.

What is CCleaner?

Would not delete/clean & could not find the files or file path.

oh dear. Has Google been made illegal?

A nice little proggie for cleaning things. Haven't seen a portable version (one that does not require installation), but the installable one is fast, lightweight, and secure. Go ahead and give it a try.

Starting a couple of days ago the System Cleanup/Data Destruction Wipe is removing all of the items I listed, except the "FXSAPIDebugLogFile.txt", which is as it was in the past.
However, what use to take the "U.S. Standard, DoD 5220.22-M" 4-5 hours, and the "NAVSO P-5239-26 (RLL)" 8 hours, is now taking no more than 5 minutes to complete w/ either one.
Is this normal?
Are the wipes still effective?
