I've tried to uninstall TI2010 -- Uninstall has failed with "Fatal Application Error."
Then, I've tried to re-install TI2009. Re-install has failed, with a message denoting, that I've a newer version of the product installed already.
At the end of the "saga," I've used my latest TI2009 backup and have restored the latest "C:" image. This was the first time, that I've used the full image "restore."
I'm back to TI2009
Did anyone experience the same or similar problem with TI2010: "Faulting application trueimagemonitor.exe, version 13.0.0.5055, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.3053, fault address 0x000046b4."
Thank you!

Did you experience the same problem as me: "Faulting application trueimagemonitor.exe" or the problem reported in the other thread: "MounterMonitor.exe - Entry Point Not Found?"

Hello spider2009 and twokatmew,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.
This issue can be fixed by clean installation of a product.
Could you please do the following?
-Completely uninstall the program according to this article
-Install the program from scratch
This should fix the issue.
Thank you.

Thank you for your response.
I hope that Acronis will provide a maintenance to TI2010 that would enable a simple upgrade path from TI2009 to TI2010.
Reading these forums, one can only imagine how much time is wasted by every single TI2009 user in an attempt to upgrade TI2009 to TI2010.
I've wasted four hours just to restore my PC to pre-TI2010 point. Just to mention, TI2009 has failed to mount drive "D:" partition. Luckily for me, Windows XP Pro SP3 is installed on "C:" partition.
Best.

yeah, this same problem wasted about several hours of my time, too. A simple "do not upgrade, please do a clean install" warning would suffice.
