Target drive is running out of space

Thread needs solution

Did anyone find a solution to the Target drive is running out of space error?

I keep getting this even though I have over 1.3TB of free space on my 2TB drive, and my whole backup is about 500GB.

Any help or reply would be appreciated.

Most likely there is a backup setting that needs to be adjusted. Could you get back to us with some screenshots of your automatic clean-up settings? Please check this KB article for additional details about their location.

Thank you for keeping us posted and providing us with the screenshots.

I would advise you to reduce the number of copies you're keeping (see Settings_2 screenshot). Differential backups are registering the changes made since the last full backup, thus each new differential backup is bigger than the previous one, and this may cause the product to recognize the target drive as running pout of space.

Should the issue remain, please gather Acronis Info, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number.
