Target drive runs out of space while backing up, now entire target image folder is corrupted
I was doing an incremental backup with TrueImage 2010 (the boot CD). I thought the target drive had enough free space, but that did not seem to be the case, as it ran out of space partway through the backup. Acronis came up with an error message (something about choosing a different .tib file). I found out the drive had ran out of space, so I cancelled the backup and rebooted into Windows.
When I go into the folder in the target drive where I have all my .tib files located, I get an error telling me the folder is unreadable and corrupted. There are multiple .tib files in the folder (incremental backups).
Is there anyway to access the folder, and does this mean that all my backups are now gone?

using the "/r" parameter forces chkdsk to do all 5 scan and repair operations. After running chkdsk, try to validate your backups. If they validate, fine; if not, then they problaby need to be deleted.
NOte that you need enough room for your backups plus one complete backup and all it's incs -- this is because wehn ati consolidates, it makes a new big file out of the full and the related incs -- once it's done this it does some deleting of files. So if there isn't enough of that "extra" room, it won't be able to consolidate and will generate a disk full error.
