Task execution failed
Windows 7 64
Acronis 2014
I created a new profile a week ago for files backups for an internal drive that was not being backed up. It ran every two days, created a backup and sent an email headed "Task execution failed." but the contents of the email had no errors. Trying to open any of the three TLBs gives an error message. During the last week, a drive backup for the drive ran ok, and many other files and drive backups for other drives were ok.
I've deleted the profile and failed TLBs this morning, created another and it does the same, runs for an hour or so, creates a TLB that can not be opened and emails me "Task execution failed." Other backups ran ok before and after the failed backup.

manually validate

Is

If I change the source backup drive from I: to E: - then it runs without error and creates a full file backup. A second run creates an incremental backup - so the profile is valid, it just does not like I: for file backups

Run a disk check for file and disk errors for I.
I would also run a file check for erros on the file folders being backed up.
