Tell the Ignorant program to ask for another disk!!!!!

How ticked off am I??? I take two hours this afternoon writing a back-up to DVD's.
It gets ready to write what would be the last disk, and the stupid program says the disk is bad, cancels the back-up, and proclaims the backup a failure!!!
Just tell the brain-dead program to ask for another disk!!!
How do I get my time back???
Are you going to buy me new five new DVD's because the program is too stupid to ask for another disk?????
