Is there a real backup in this software?

I have ver 11

I want to make a true backup of each of 3 hard disks on my system. I want each backup to be a true sector-by-sector backup, NOT in a .tib file. When I try to use the 'backup', it requires me to backup to such a file. When I try to use the clone feature (more logical for what I want to do), it does not permit me to backup to a partition. It demands that I use an entire disk.

Am I correct? If so, this program is worthless. I am trying to backup, so that if a hard disk fails, I can just substitute my backup disk. Neither of the choices (backup or clone) seem to allow me to do what I want.

Right - clone requires you to clone a disk to a disk. So for 3 disks you have you need 3 backup disks, and clone each of them to its spare counterpart.

ps - There is no Acronis Backup and Recovery that have ver 11.
