Is there a way to use bootable CD for 2015 under Win 8?

Thread needs solution

I have Acronis 2009, 2011, and 2015. After 5 months of 2015 and many images created and restored, I still prefer the earlier versions.

I made a bootable CD for 2015 and tried it out. I was pleasantly surprised that the DOS version was much like 2009 and 2011. I really prefer it to the Windows version.

Is there any way I can use the bootable CD version while in Win 8. I didn't see any EXE files. I know I can always reboot to the CD, but that won't work. I need something I can use under Win8.

thanks,

Why do you need a CD to use inside of Windows? You can do a recovery directly from the Acronis 2015 menu unless you're recovering the entire C: partition. And if you are recovering the entire C: drive, you can't do it with Windows running so you have to boot from the recovery disk. I can't think of any reason you'd need a bootable CD to use with Windows running.
