TI 11 disappointment

Thread needs solution

I upgraded to W7 and installed TI2009, not realizing it wasn't compatible. So I bought and installed TI2011, fully expecting that it would take care of removing the old installation. It didn't. Probably because of this, 2011 wasn't working right, so I figured I'd reinstall. Neither version would fully uninstall (thanks Acronis for your customer care). I finally used Revo uninstaller which found literally thousands of registry entries related to TI. This appears to me to be pretty sloppy programming. I also found the 2011 user interface totally confusing and unnecessarily complex. I am going to seriously investigate Microsoft backup. Art

so do I - I can not understand why the user interface had to be totally changed - I do NOT like it!

Art,
"I finally used Revo uninstaller which found literally thousands of registry entries related to TI. This appears to me to be pretty sloppy programming." I concur totally! It looks like Acronis just doesn't know how to write software anymore. This reminds me of companies that ship off all their development and customer service overseas just to save a few $ but loose focus on quality. I can't comment on the new TI because I can't uninstall TI11 w/o a BSOD!
