TI 2010 /7046 "jittery"

Hello all,
Here is the question. Has anyone experienced a "jittering" when either using a rescue disk (iso disk as well) or running TI from the recovery manager ? After clicking through the initial options ,then getting to the 'browse" for backup, clicking on what drive you want, the left side of the panel goes through a "freak out" pulsing / flashing at about 10 pulses per second ? When doing the same from windows (backup or recovery)TI is rock solid. Have only noticed this on 2010 previous versions were OK. After a while , things seem to calm down a bit and you can continue as normal. any thoughts? Regards Fred
