TI 2010 7046 wont install

Thread needs solution

Greetings,
I had to recently recover my system to an earlier date. I d/l the latest TI and have attempted to install it repeatedly. It never finishes the installation process. I get no error messages, the screen just shows the progress bar completed and then nothing. I have waited at that screen for hours to ensure it is doing what ever it needs to do. But when I reboot no TI. I have redownloaded the install file with same results. I have never had to uninstall the previous version before but when I went to check that avenue out, while the older TI is listed, it is non functional now.

Is there a master uninstaller for TI that I could use to clean all traces of the TI from my registry so I could start a fresh install? Or am I fated to just use jv16 tools, search for all things True Image and force a deletion that way?

Thanx for your assistance in this matter. ))

PS Windows Vista 64 ultimate with 8 gigs ram and AMD quad 9750, nothing over clocked

Hello Mark,

Let me assist you.

We do have the Acronis Clean Up Utility that you can use to get rid of all traces of the previous installation of Acronis software. Please have a look at this KB article for the download link and instructions on how to use it.

If the issue still persists, please collect MS Installer log file and attach it to your reply to this thread. It'll help me to find out the exact reason of the issue and to provide you with a solution.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
