TI 2010 and WHS

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I would like to know if it would be possible to install TI2010 on my new WHS.

I use to backup data from my home pc, but now that data is on my Windows Home Server.

I would like to move TI2010 to my WHS.

Is that possible?

Hope so!

Hello Sascha!

Welcome to our Forum, thank you for joining us!

I regret to inform you that Acronis True Image Home doesn't support Windows Home Server OS. WHS is based on Server 2003, and our home solutions are designed for Workstation OSes only.

For Server OS we can offer you Acronis Backup and Recovery Server for Windows. You can test it to see whether it suits your needs and find the detailed information regarding its functionality in the Quick Start and User's Guide. You might also like to check for Acronis Universal Restore, which is required for restoration onto the dissimilar hardware. Right now our special offer is in action: Acronis Universal Restore for free. It is included into the installation package and you do not need to pay for it. Keep in mind that this offer expires on 05/31/2010.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

shit, that really sucks. Now again I need to pay for another app and the old app I will not use anymore :(

Acronis Universal Restore for free. Where do I find the download?

Hello mbathen!

Acronis Universal Restore is included into the installation package of the Acronis Backup and Recovery products. Thus Acronis Universal Restore is not available for separate download.

All you need is the license to enter during the installation process. You can obtain such license for free when purchasing Acronis Backup and Recovery software till the end of May!

Let me know in case something is confusing you, I will be glad to clarify.

Thank you!
