TI 2010 blocks access to my drives from other computers on the network

Thread needs solution

I have installed TI 2010 on my computer, and all of a sudden other computers on the network can no longer see my hard drives, where they could before the installation. Uninstalling TI 2010 did not solve teh problem. Restoring to a pre installation WINXP restore point solved teh problem. I thought this was a quality product. In fact I bought 8 licenses, thinking I would install this on all my computers for quick emergency drive restoration. Am I glad i only installed the one so far. It took me 6 hrs to figure out it was TI2010 that was causing the problem. after all who would suspect an imaging program of creating firewall? This truly is disappointing, especially considering there is no access to a chat line or anything to discuss this problem. HAs anyone else had a similar experience?

This Acronis KB article may be the solution to your issue:

Thank you KOLO, that did the trick!
Although I could have never figured it out without your help. It's too bad that the nature of both Windows and Acronis is such that it requires such advanced and unknown tricks as creating Registry values to make supposedly user friendly software work.
Thanks again.
