TI 2010 does not recognize full backup on external.

Hello,I have been trying to find the answer for this all morning but I can't quite come up with it.I'm running Windows 7 Home,TIH 2010,and my backups are located on a Western Digital 1TB external HD.I made the backups with TI 2010.I was attempting to run repair because I kept seeing help files for TI 2011.(I should of just left it.)After the reinstall the GUI says my "your system is not fully protected ,run backups"and it shows the red flag.I activated start up recovery manager and made and tested the boot disk.Do I have to redo my backups to make it recognize them?In the drive cleanser section it does show my internal drive,the windows recovery partition,and the external drive.Its just on the home screen section that the flag is up and I usually resolve it by activating the Start up Recovery Manager.Anybody have any ideas?Thanks.
