TI 2010 latest Build 7.046 and USB 3.0
Do you understand German? If so - look at my problem here

#5 to 8
English - short version
System freezes when trying to make image of C-partition using USB 3.0 drive on USB 3.0 input
OS is W7Pro32 ( uptodate) TI is 2010 Home Plus latest Build 7.046
Notebook is
http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/de/de/sm/WF06b/321957-321957-64295-39555…
external drive is this

enclosure is this

The freeze comes with upgoing temperature and full fan speed and lasts several minutes - once accompanied by black screen - after that the image semms to be done in the usual way and is shown as valid.
The freeze only comes when using the above said devices - any external harddrive ( even the USB 3.0) on the USB 2.0-Adapter ( input) works fine.
On the USB 3.0 input the USB2-drives work, but only showing activity after 5 minutes - afterwards fast image creating.
I hope you can understand my problem - my English is a bit rusty after about 40 years of not using it ( reading/understanding is ok - but speaking/writing is a bit difficult)

Thank you for answering so soon. I will install the downloaded SnapAPI v.545 after creating new image of the C-partition and post the outcome within the next few days.

After installing the SnapAPI 545 TI 2010 does not start ( reboot after install was made) - I had to start the Systemrestore of W7 to be able to start TI
SnapAPI-dll is now v. 3.8.0.517 again.

Hello n8cht4ule!
Thank you for your comment and for keeping me posted, I appreciate it!
I'll be honest: it's a bit weird that Acronis True Image Home failed to start after SnapAPI installation. These drivers were designed for this product and should work flawlessly.
In this case the situation requires investigation. Could you please provide me with Acronis Info from the problem machine?
I will forward this information to the Testers team. They will localize the issue, and we'll find a solution for it.
Thank you once again for cooperation and understanding! I will be waiting for news from you!

I hope that my info-file did reach you by now - I have put it as attachment to a PM to you

I had just submitted this information to a separate case and escalated it to the Experts' team. They will reproduce the issue, and as soon as they have any news, they'll contact you via e-mail. Should there be any procrastination with the reply from their side - let me know, I will be glad to help!
And meanwhile as we're waiting for news from Experts, I would appreciate if you could let me know in case there's anything else I can help you with!
Thank you once again for cooperation and patience.

Here I am again - late, because it took 24 days before I got my notebook back from HP. My notebook had to be sent in because it had hardware-defects - HP had to replace the mainboard!
I have bought a new HP Elitebook 8740w ( also with USB 3.0) and use ( although I do NOT like the new user interface) the new TI Home2011 - works ok.
So I think that my problems might have been caused by the hardware-defect ( which was: the LAN-cable did not fit in properly and one of the near USB3-ports did not work at all - mainboard was defect)
Thank you for your interest and help.
