TI 2011 was working but not after reinstalling windows

Hi,
I have had TI 2011 for some time now and has been working well on my latest PC and laptop, both are running windows 7 and have SSD,s.
I just reformtted and reinstalled windows 7 on the PC and now TI will not work. It took a long time to load and said that there were unsupported discs. It just would not work, it would open then hang.
Disk director 2010 did similar although it was working before.
Both programs are working fine on my windows 7 laptop.
What is going on?
Any help appreciated.
