TI 2011 Won't Recover Word Document(s) from Non-Stop Backup
I am using TI 2011 Home version on a Windows 64-bit machine. My non-stop backup dates back to July, 2010.
I am attempting to restore a MS Word file from various versions of the NSB database. Acronis says that the "operation completed successfully." However, the file IS NOT restored. I have also attempted to create a new folder to restore the files to. The folder is generated but after the restore, the folder is empty.
I badly need to restore these word files. What can be done to fix this?
Thank you.

Drag and Drop to the desktop from Time Explorer DOES NOT work. I have tried repeatedly.

Is anybody going to ACTIVELY work on this issue? It should be easy to re-create?
I badly need to restore some Word documents from NSB and can't. How can I trust the reliability of TI 2011?
Thank you.

I am attempting to run ACRONISINFO. I get a "Program Has Stopped Working" error message along with "Program Failed to Obtain Report Groups."
I disabled my antivirus and firewall while attempting to run this program.
What else can I do to assist in resolving this problem?
Thank You.

The Acronis support site does NOT give me a means to contact Acronis Support per the above request. Can somebody please assist?

To update this: I just tried to restore my MS Word FOLDER instead of the individual MS Word file. I received an "Operation Failed" error message. The Word folder WAS NOT restored. How can we get this fixed? Acronis should easily be able to re-create this issue since it has existed since the last release. I cannot be confident in the integrity of NSB if things like this exist.
I am attaching the Acronis System Report which I generated directly after I Received this restore error. Please advise ASAP.
Thank you.
Richard

Hello Anton,
I am also having this problem with Acronis nonStop Backup on my Windows 7 64bit Ultimate.
I can recover my word document using the Acronis Interface, but if I choose to recover a file using the Windows Right-click=>Properties=>Acronis recovery Tab, I get the Window's dialog "program has stopped working." So, not a show stopper, but I would like to use the convenience of the context sensitive Windows right-click functionality.
Any advice appreciated,
Cheers Rod.

The usual way can't help you get back lost words, so why not try to find some PC data recovery tools?

Amara,
Old, old post here. Last comment before yours was Fri, 01/28/2011 - 16:42. Many improvements in functionality and reliability have occurred in ATI in the last 8-9 years :)
