TI 2012 Plus Pack Backup after fresh Win 7 install Problem

I had to do a reinstall of Win 7 H premium due to a malware issue corrupting files.

After the 1st attempt I tried a recover of the C drive, and the corruption was re installed. A pain, as I would get occasional Blue Screens.

I held off for a few weeks so that I could do my taxes - filed last week.

This past weekend I did a FILE backup of the C drive in order to eliminate Win7 contamination. I then did another fresh Win7 install along with all of the drivers (Alienware M17XR3 dual drive). After the recovery I got an error code which is not listed in the knowledge base, but mainly a window saying I had no permissions when trying to click on anything on the desktop. I couldn't even go to My Computer or Control Panel ---- A complete lockout. Myonly choice was to do another complete install of Win7.

I am now sitting with the fresh install but went to the user accounts, and checked. When trying to open UpdatusUser I got another window stating I did not have access, butif I clicked OK I would gain access. I did so.

Would this be the cause of the lockout???? If not, what should I do next? I'm kinda stuck, and want to avoid another failed install.
