Thread needs solution

used ti 2012 for several months no problem. Upgraded motherboard, processor and primary harddrive. Clean install of Win 7 and ti 2012. Open ti 2012 get the splash screen click on a button and nothing happens. Re installed several times, tried ti 2013 same problem, task manager shows the program is running but the splash screen still not responsive. No error messages of any kind.

David,
Please ensure you are installing/running the latest build of 2012... 7133 I believe.

When installing, are you installing as an administrator, or to an acount with limited user privledges?

Have you installed windows updates, device drivers, latest service pack, etc?

If you have any 3rd party anti-virus or internet security software installed, disable it before testing.

When the behavior occurs, can you open task manager?

Do other programs open and run correctly while the PC is in this state?

Yes I do have the latest build.
Installing with full privileges
Windows is up to date
Tried disabling anti virus software then running
Can open task manager, shows 2012 running
No other problems with the PC
Thank you for responding as I am at a total loss.

Hi David,

There is no single cause for this behavior. It usually has something to do with a specific environment.  Please see the following KB article for assistance:

2012 Hangs When Trying To Run For The First Time

Clean Up Utility (Please follow all instructions completely)

32/64bit Debugging Tools

Used Win debug and received this error message OXD0000022, access is denied Win 32 0n 5.
Is this relevant to my problem. Thanks

David,
This error often indicates a problem with software validation. The inability of the software protection service to start or the possibility of corrupt or missing windows system files. Are you running Genuine Windows?

I cannot say with certainty this error is related to your problem. The KB article above recommends contacting Acronis Customer Central with the results of your debug report.

Other possible solutions might include:
-Running windows update
-Ensuring your copy of windows is activated and showing as genuine in System Properties, visit http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/
-Attempting to start the Software Protection Service Manually, type >net start sppsvc at an elevated command prompt
-Perform a System File Check, type >sfc /scannow at an elevated command prompt

Wish I had more for you. Still looking into this.
