TI 2014 Premium - Can't get Universal Restore to work

Thread needs solution

I have Acronis TI 2014 Premium and am trying to use the universal restore feature. From my understanding of the manual, when I start the boot media I should see an option that says “Use Acronis Universal Restore”

I never see that. I only see "Restore Disks and Partitions".

Here is my license as I see it on the Acronis site where it's registered:
Acronis True Image 2014 Premium Family Pack (English) 1 license(s)

Premium does give me the right to universal restore, doesn’t it?

Is there a chance that although I bought premium and downloaded the newest version, it’s not really registering as premium on my system? Because when I display the license after starting TI on my computer it only says "Acronis True Image 2014". Premium is not mentioned. Do other people with premium see something that actually says “Premium”?

I'm trying to restore a Win7 32 bit system that resides on a 160GB sata hard drive to a 500GB sata (not an SSD) drive on another computer. But for testing purposes I’ve tried this on three different systems - both Windows 7 32 and 64 bit. I've tried it with different backups and have made half a dozen bootable media disks. I have made sure to that I do a “disk” backup. What is going wrong?

Thanks,
Roger

Make sure you enter your serial number correctly. The title bar of the program should say premium.
Then either create a new bootable recovery medium or download the premium ISO from the web site.
Also, make sure that your backup contains an active partition.

When I registered it on the Acronis site with that serial number it came up and said that it was 2014 Premium. Serial number is correct but the program title bar doesn't say premium. I wonder if there's something funky with the three pc licenses.

You should contact Acronis through their chat support. Only they can resolve this licensing issue.
