TI Home 2009 worked until I tried to patch to new 9796 Now not working

Hello I have XP SP3 on an Abit NI-8 mb with 3gb ram two internal HD both 1tb insize. I had been using TI 2009, tried to do the upgrade and trouble started. XP would not load just the scroll bar rolling across forever.  Did a restore of C: worked great. Did uninstall of TI 2009. Reg clean. Installed the original TI 2009. Now my C drive backs up fine to my G drive on the other hard drive but D fails everytime.  Also D fails to a Maxtor One Touch external.  Here is the Dr. Watson dmp  And if I can I will attach the DrWtsn32.log

It seems to fail on the NTDLL.DLL file.  I know many apps fails with that .dll file.  Just looking for ideas before I go back to Ghost 14.  Thanks for looking. I'm new here hope I'm not breaking any laws.
