TI Home 2010 doesn't see any drives

Thread needs solution

Hi, I have previously had TI Home 10 which wouldn't see my Sata drives when booting up to do a restore. I had a conversation with Alexander from Acronis and after some trying of his suggestions and still not getting anywhere he suggested that I get ATI 2010 which should work OK. I have now purchased ATI 2010 but I get the same result with it. It works fine on my laptop which also has a Sata drive but on my desktop it either freezes the machine at the Acronis blue screen or sometimes it just boots into a blank black screen.

Has anybody got any suggestions please?

The computer is a Acer Veritron M464

Thanks,

Pete

Which TI CD version did you try? The one created using TI or the one you can download from your Acronis account (ISO file)? They use different loaders and drivers so one may work if the other doesn't.

Have you tried the quiet acpi=off noapic option detailed in Section II of the Read Before You Post thread?

You might return to your serial registration page and download the available file on the 2010 page.

Burn the iso file to CD and then try booting from the iso CD.
