TI start-up screen no longer shows any previous backups

Thread needs solution

In trying to do my weekly full-image, I just noticed that the TI-2014 Backup-Recover screen is blank and no longer shows a list of my prior backups. However, I go to my D: drive and they are physically there!

Is there a database where this info is kept? If there is, can it be rebuilt?

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

Other than visual, there is little need for their appearance on the screen. The tib backup files exist and can be restored whenever you want them r etored.

It is possible to have them re-appear but their own value is as a restore, as no backups can be added to them once the "backup now" option is gone which cannot be reconstructed. If a new backup of that data is needed, you will need to create a new task and perform a new backup.

How to add backup files to the listing of backup tasks for assorted uses such as validation or recovery or add missing files to backup tasks.

Thank you GroverH!

I've been using TI since version 7 and truly this 2014 interface is a mystery me. I miss the old "Create an Image", "Restore an Image". No gamma of options, schedules, incrementals, etc. Just plain old "Wax On, Wax Off" as Mr. Miagi used to say.

Thanks again!

Astur,
I understand your feelings. That mystery led me to create the "how to" tasks.
Maybe a review of signature link 2 would help.
