TI2010: 0x70021, 0x102007, saving no log files

Thread needs solution

I feel like a victim of Acronis' advertisement. I am a user of TI since version 7.0. With early versions I spent hours and days to resolve problems. The late versions run satisfying. Yesterday evening I wanted to "quickly" upgrade from 2009 to 2010. When I did so, TI 2010 did not start. I had to uninstall 2009 with the uninstall utility. Now 2010 starts but doesn't create backups (0x70021, 0x102007). Not even saving log files works! (Saving editor files works without of any problem.) What should I do? Downgrade to 2009? TI is my most valuable software, but the upgrade result makes me angry. (Additionally to have to do an interpreters job.)

Hello,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help. Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.
To resolve the issue please uninstall Acronis True Image Home 2009 using Acronis Cleanup Utility.
After that download and install the latest build of Acronis True Image Home 2010 #6053. You can learn more on how to download the latest build in this article.
After that Download SnapAPI Build 503, unpack it and install with Disabled logging. Reboot the computer again to complete the changes and see if the issue remains.
If the issue still persists, please try to obtain the log file of the failed operation. If you are unable to provide us with the log file, please obtain ProcMon log file and send me a   Private Message, I will create an account on our FTP server to upload the files.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.
Thank you.
