TI2010 build 7160 can not restore boot partition

System profile:

• P67 mainboard, i7 cpu
• Windows7 Professional 64 bit, clean install, all updates
• Intel SSD X25 connected to SATA #0, contains boot partition
• harddisks connected to Marvell SATA controller to avoid the potential Intel SATA problem

I'm able to create backup images from the boot partition. When I try to restore it, then I get an error message "MFT bitmap corrupted". So I tried:

• scandisk
• install snapapi build557

But I still can not restore the image.

When I try the restore from the USB stick (also build 7160), then it fails too on the first attempt. After this, the boot partition is deleted and the next attempt to restore just works fine.
