TI2010, resizing columns in Scheduled task list impossible

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I'm trying to reorder the columns in Scheduled task list and to resize them.

I've moved the Last Result column to the third position and would like to change the width of it. At this time a task is running and I'm unable to resize this column.

If no task is running this works, however, when clicking on the first column, the job name, the previously resized column resets its size to the default width - my settings are ignored.

This is a minor issue but should be fixed anyway.

Hello Micky,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

This issue should be forwarded to our Experts Team for further investigation. We will try to reproduce it with our environment.

Could you please make screenshot with the error and send it to us?

- Get to the window which you want to make a screen shot of;
- Hit the (Alt+)PrintScreen button on your keyboard;
- Run Paint usually available in Start\Programs\Accessories or another graphics application;
- Choose Paste command in Edit menu;
- Save the result picture in JPEG format being preferable.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the issue appears and the link to this thread. We will do our best to investigate the problem and provide you with a solution.

Thank you very much for your cooperation!

You can try doing a full uninstall and reinstall however, there appear to be some problems with the Task Editor, this being one more.

Done! Ticket [Case 00322288] TI2010 modifying task manager layout not persistent [ ref:00D3Zcb.500578K1z:ref ]

I have a question - where did you go to submit the ticket?

Clicking on the link above takes me here: www.acronis.com/support/index.html

I'm thinking I'm really blind - cause all I see is Start Here under Contact Us.  Then pick Technical Issue with the product - I am using a Full Version - Select 2010 - then since I'm not having a Recovery Issue - I select Other Issue - and then it wants me to purchase PPI or show I have purchased PPI.  I notice that under Recovery Issue there is an option to submit a web form.  Is that where you submitted the ticket from?

It's fairly simple if you know how to proceed on the support page;-)

You have to be logged in or you will be asked to do later on:

1) Go to www.acronis.com/support/index.html

2) Search for Have questions? and press the button next to it: Start here.

3) On the popup select "Technical issue with the product"

4) Select 'I'm using a full product' or whatever applies

5) Select your registered product

6) Select 'Submit a request vie web form'

HTH

after 5 I get a What is wrong page - If Recovery is selected there is a Web Form submit option - but not for Other Issue.  That doesn't seem right.

Thanks.
