TI2015 on Universal Rescue Boot Stick is still in Trail Mode

Thread needs solution

Hi folks.

I've got a problem to built a bootable USB-stick on Windows 7 to backup and restore my ssd (to test Windows 10). A few hours ago I found this to be a known issue that is fixed in Update 2. See https://kb.acronis.com/content/50174.

Unfortuanly my system was already updated at this time. Now I spent some hours to get it working but without any success yet. The TI2015 on the bootstick ist still in trial mode. For history: TI2014 was installed before TI2015 and I did the upgrade last year. Then regular updates were installed if avaliable.

What I did today to fix the issue: Downloaded latest setup files after login to my account at Acronis; Uninstalled Universal Restore and TI2015; Deleted c:\windows\temp; Rebooted; Installed TI2015; Started and activated TI2015; Installed Universal Restore Builder; Built a bootstick an got still the trial mode.

So what to do now?

Kind regards, Andre.

Hi,

meanwhile with a complete new install of True Image 2015 and Universal Restore on a different notebook it doesen't work, too. The second system is Windows 7 Professional and had never an Acronis before. I downloaded TI2015 and UR from my account an the Acronis website. Activatet TI2015. Installed UR. Produced a fersh bootable Stick with starting TI2015 and useing Extras->Acronis Universal Restore. The TI2015 on the stick is still in trial mode.

Because of 30 days support I'm not allowed to open a technical case. So maybe the only thing left is switching to Ghost or some other solution. So I don't know what to do else. Any ideas?

Andre.
