.tib to .vhd conversion fails with error "Operation Failed" when converting from TIB files created in TIH 2009
NOTE: Issue resolved with build 6696
Hi guys,
Having searched and read through virtually every .tib to .vhd issue on the forums and via google, I am at a bit of a loss here. It seems that .tib files created with the old version of Acronis that I had, True Image Home 2009, refuse to convert to .vhd files. The process appears to be working, in fact it works very quickly - total time being around 10 - 15min, only to show an error "Operation Failed" with no .vhd file created.
Images created using True Image Home 2011 seem to convert fine thusfar.
The issue being that I need to convert some of my old .tib files to .vhd so that I can load them up on my laptop with Windows 7 Professional when I am not at home to access previous versions of data.
Is this possible? If not, is there a workaround? Should I create an image of an image (a .tib of a .tib?!) then do it?
