TIH 2009: TrueImageHomeService.exe window

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I create backups the following way:
- When my computer shuts down
- Using a post command: Execute a .bat file
When the computer shuts down, TIH 11 showed the .bat running in a command window. TIH 2009 shows an empty (black) command window titled "TrueImageHomeService.exe" instead of the .bat window.

My .bat file contains pause commands, displaying e. g. "Switch off internet connection", but they are not shown. What can I do?

I hope I could express myself understandable.

Thanks for any help,

Anselm

ATI Home 2009 User's Guide "5.4.3 Pre/post commands", page 39: "You can specify commands or batch files to be executed automatically before and/or after the backup procedure."

Hello all,

Please accept our apologies for the late response.

Anselm, I'll surely help you with the issue, but first I need some additional information from you.

Could you please publish the contents of your .bat file in your reply or just attach it to your message?

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Scott, thank you for your help.

This is the code of my .bat file:

@echo off
echo Internetzugang muss aktiviert sein!
rem Internet access must be active
pause

cd C:\Programme\Avira\AVCLS\

call ivdfupd.cmd
rem Download antivirus update

echo Internetzugang kann deaktiviert werden.
pause
rem Internet access can get deactivated

avcls.exe -allfiles -allboot -nopack -s -z -heuristic=2 -r1 -rfC:\AVreport.txt -ro C:\* R:\*
rem Run antivirus program

cd C:\

I hope it's understandable for you.

Thanks in advance,

Anselm

With kindest regards,

Anselm

You might want to PM him; He might have accidently misplaced you on his To Do list.

Hello,

Ilya wrote "Could you please *publish* the contents of your .bat file" and he could use the new comments notify. But I'll try it.

Thank you,

Anselm
