TIH 2010 will not reboot WinXP to make clone
Thread needs solution
Attempting to clone wentire local HDD to USB external drive. Setup works fine but Acronis gives error message "Cannot reboot windows. You probably do not have enough privileges to perform the operation". I am system administrator. What do I do now please? I don't have this issue with my other copy (TIH 2009, Win Vista).

Many thanks for the advice. It worked perfectly. I'm very grateful.
I make a clone out of habit: I once had a hard drive fail mechanically while on an overseas posting. It took weeks to get a new drive, an operating system and to restore my programs, even though all my own files were backed up. With a clone and a screwdriver it takes two minutes.
