TIH 2011 shows network drive as non-NTFS when the drive is.

I'm trying to back up to a seperate hard drive on a networked computer (running Windows 7 Pro on both with sharing set up). I have formatted the destination drive as NTFS (and under properties it indicates NTFS), I can select the drive on the one click backup screen, but once the drive is selected it states in red letters: Cannot back up to non-NTFS partition.

I've searched the forum and can't find any relevant info on this topic... any ideas?
