TIH 2012 Update 2 Won't Prevent Computer Hibernation

Thread needs solution

Win 7 x64

My windows account has sysadmin privileges.

Selecting "Prevent computer from going to sleep/hibernate" in the schedule/advanced settings menu does not prevent my system from sleeping during a backup.

Sleep time is set for four hours of no user activity; the backup takes lots longer than that. Last time the system went to sleep eleven minutes after starting a backup.

Other than setting my sleep time to a ludicrously large number, or disabling it completely, what can be done to make this feature work as advertised?

Mostly the key is to make sure the computer if fully awake at backup time and to keep it awake.
Then after the backup is over, return the computer to its original power settings.
TrueImage has an option for program to be run before and after the backup so this option can be of assistance.

Click on link #3 below and look at item #9. This is one solution and there are others--most of which need an adjustment in power settings before and after the backup.

One suggestion I have read here somewhere (?) was to change the priority of the backup to high in the task settings. I don't know if this will help, but would be easy to try. Edit your task, or create a new one, and check the options for the backup priority settings.
