TIH 2013 and Acronis Online Subsriptions Confusion

I tried TIH 2013 and Acronis Online Trial versions on my two laptops (I'm transitioning to a new laptop) with mixed success and subsequently bought the TIH 2013 Family Pack and Online 250 GB subscription.

I had downloaded both trial products and so I activated both products and now I cannot get the online backup to work on the older laptop: both are running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. So, I uninstalled Acronis Online 250 GB Backup on the OLDER laptop to see if I can backup to the Cloud my older laptop from within the TIH 2013 product. I get a some kind of a "Cannot find or process script" error and online backup fails. I left Acronis Online Backup installed on the new laptop and it continues to work.

When I try to do a Partition backup to a NAS drive on the NEW LAPTOP I get a different type of failure. The newer laptop Online Backup is working so far. I have not tried a local backup yet.

Do I need to download and install BOTH ATIH 2013 AND Acronis True Inmage Online StandAlone Installer to get both types of backups, which is what I did?

What am I doing wrong? Suggestions to get both laptops to backup locally and online?

You do not need standlaone Online Backup utility (downloaded with online backup subcriptions, version 4000 something) as you have 2013 for both computers. You need to uninstall it from both machines and after that, just to be sure, perform repair install of 2013.
If you have some issues with local (to NAS, local disk, i.e. not to cloud) backup , you'd better address them (i.e. contact support if they still persist) within 30 days after purchase.
