TIH 2014 "Failed to open backup.."

Thread needs solution

I completed a successful incremental backup only 12 hours ago with Acronis TIH 2014.
The log shows that backup validated, successfully.
The TIH 2014 Premium "Backup and recovery" tab shows "The backup is valid."
When attempting to open the archive, I get: "Failed to open backup.." and error points to a specific incremental archive file that was created during the most recent incremental archive session (the one that just completed 12 hours ago). The file in question ends in "_inc_b1_s10_v269.tib".
"More Details" gives:
Event code: 0x006400CB+0x01E50005+0x01E50015+0x01E5001A+0x0004000E
Searches in Acronis' knowlegebase produce no results with portions of the above error code.

Request: Any suggestions as to what specific issues Acronis TIH 2014 Premium may be complaining about, with this file? The file exists on the physical media.

Question: Can I conclude from the above that Acronis TIH 2014 "validation" is essentially useless as an indicator as to whether the archive would be able to be used to restore my system? If yes, then I plan to cancel my TIH 2015 Ultimate subscription (used for other machines -- I'm still on TIH 2014 for the machine-in-question), as I clearly can't trust Acronis' own assessment of archives it has taken.

Thank you!
