Toshiba M600 recovery

I got my Toshiba M600 with Window Vista infected with a malware and the system crashed. I got recovery DVDs for recovery but no CD works as it gives error as - 'BOOT MGR missing, click Ctrl Alt Del to restart' only F2/F12 is working no F8 nothing else. I tried to use window XP recovery DVD for Toshiba M500. I was taken to option where message like window files loading came. This followed by option to 1) format C: 2) format C: and D: #) quit. I chose format C: and it shoed me 100% successful and then system truns off, it doesnt reboot or uploads new OS.
Again I use any other DVD, it gives me same error of BOOTMGR missing.
I am struck i dont know what to do. I am worried for my D: drive data as its extremely crucial.
