transferring C drive to SSD from HDD

I have cloned my HDD which contains three partitions, c,d,e. I would like to purchase a SSD but only for my C drive. Is it possible to transfer only the C partition from the HDD backup and not the d and e.? The reason I don't want to transfer the entire HDD is cost of the SSD drives. I am using True Image 2013.
