Trialing Acronis Cant Backup My system Help please!

Hi,

Im trialing Acronis at the moment as im fed up rebuilding my PC when it goes wrong. Have downloaded the latest trial
Acronis True Image Home 2010 build 7046, have installed it with no issues. Can start it with no issues, can get through all the backup criteria to select partition etc, then when I press finish for the image to happen the tasks screen coomes up with a window in front which says "Operation Status"
It then just sits there at initializing.. and it doesnt go any further.

I have read on the forums about the program on startup getting stuck on Initializing but cant find anything to do with an actual backup.

Can anyone help or offer any advice please, I like the look and feel of the product and ease of use but its no good to me if I cant get it to do what it was meant to do :)

Am using Win 7 Ultimate 64bit if that has any bearing on anything.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It looks like our product cannot access the hard drives, which means that our snapapi drivers were incorrectly assigned. We have a fix for it - installation of SnapAPI update. I'm going to forward you all necessary instructions via PM, please let me know in case something's confusing.

Should the issue persist, please gather the following information:

  1. SnapAPI log (as mentioned in PM)
  2. Acronis System Report
  3. Acronis Info

After that please kindly contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.
