Trouble Updating True Image Home 2010

Thread needs solution

When I attempt to update TIH to build 7154, I get an error message: Applications is not a valid short file name. I get this same message when I attempt to uninstall the previous build 7046. I'm running Windows 7 Pro (64bit) and have two hard drives; C: for booting and D: for applications and data. The Applications folder is at the root level of D: and is where TIH is installed. How can I work around this glitch or what more info do I need to supply? Thanks for looking. John Hixson
