True Image 2010 Drive Cleanser
When using TI 2010 under Windows 7 the drive cleanser utility does not seem to notice any hard drives other than the primary boot drive. Scenario - I had a boot hard disk from a Windows 8 laptop that I was sending in for service and wanted to wipe before sending it back. So I attached the drive to the desktop where I have TI 2010 installed. I tried a direct SATA connection and external USB connection, but the drive would not show up on the disk cleanser screen. However I could access the drive through Windows including the Disk Management utility. I eventually gave up and used a freebie product to wipe the data, which could see the drive. However I was a bit annoyed that I could not get my trusty TI 2010 to work. I could have sworn I had used TI to do this in the past without such issues. Am I missing something?
