True Image 2010 Vista 32 clone process deallocates target disk
Today I upgraded from TI2009 to TI2010
I cloned C drive to D and the process was reasonably fast and completed.
I rebooted and my D drive was not visble and shows up in Administarive management as unallocated.

D is internal Samsung Drive identical to C drive
Cloning performed within Windows using TI 2010
I used these same 2 drives with TI 2009 on Win XP for a very long time with no problems.
I upgraded to Vista 32 and had the same problem as I describedi n my original Post.
I upgraded to TI2010 hoping that would solve the problem.
I made an ISO image CD of TI 2009 and have clconed these C and D drives several times with 100% success.
I did not detach the C drive before 1st boot following the cloning procedure, But I can try that.

Hello William,
Thank you for using Acronis Products
Please note that this issue usually takes place if the original hard drive is not removed from the computer before the first boot from the target drive. This happens because Windows gets somehow "confused" while trying to mount the letter for the system partition because it is already associated with the original hard drive.
In this case, please make sure you disconnect the original hard drive while performing the first boot from the target one.
