True Image 2010 on Win XP allways creates Full Backup and no differential

Thread needs solution

I alway took a Full Backup at start of the Month and every week a differential.
This worked the last 2 years.

Now from one day to other it started to make full backups everytime.

There was no checkdisk done
no new installation of a Software.
Maybe some microsoft security updates and
padern updates from NAI Mc Afee.

I tried to make a complete new task. Same problem
First Backup takes 2 hours and needs 39 GB... ok
Then I change the Task to differential and the second backup
ends with 39 GB again .It shows differential but the output
(needed time and store is a full).

For trying to get an answer i made an Testsystem:
I installed an empty windows xp in an Virtual infrastructure (VM)
and made the same szenario...but there it works
(only difference...new installation, no patches no virus scanner)

Is there anything known why that happens now?
Changes of file handling from a microsoft security update?
Incompatibility to new definition updates from Mc Afee?

Internal Database problem on True Image Home 2010?

I hope someone from support can pic that isue.

When you create the task, start by telling it to do differential backups. If none exist, the first backup will be a full. Do not edit an existing task changing the backup method from full to differential (or incremental). This almost always causes unexpected behavior.

If you have consolidation/cleanup settings turned on, check to see if there is an option to "never delete" the first version. If so, a second full backup will be created before the differential backups will begin.

Be sure to create a NEW task, pointing to an EMPTY folder on your target disk and check ALL of the optional settings.
